Hotel Overview

Sense of place

The lodge combines the rustic feeling of an alpine lodge with an updated, contemporary design, all timber and glass and designed to afford panoramic views of the beautiful surrounding countryside.

Rooms at Tres Valles Lodge

Tres Valles features just four guest rooms, which follow a rustic aesthetic reflecting the natural environment – floors, walls and ceilings are all made from beautiful panelled wood, and huge windows mean you can take in the unspoilt countryside from the comfort of your own bed. The traditional, organic feel is offset by stylish, contemporary armchairs and modern light fittings.

Food & Drink

The food is fantastic at Tres Valles, with an emphasis – as you might imagine – on freshly caught and reared fish and meat. This being an Argentine cattle ranch, juicy steaks feature regularly on the menu, often prepared in traditional style on an asado barbecue and accompanied by fine Argentine Malbec. When the weather allows, meals can be enjoyed outside in the hotel’s grounds.

Facilities

As with most other things at the lodge, facilities are geared towards fishing, and all the equipment you could need is provided at the lodge. Common areas include a cosy living room set around a large stone fireplace, a reading room, and a cinema room – all perfect place to retreat to on those chilly Patagonian evenings.

Activities at Tres Valles Lodge

Fishing is very much the main event at Tres Valles, with several wildlife-rich rivers within easy reach of the hotel. The Rio Pico is bursting with rainbow and brown trout, while the Rio Corcovado is home to huge Pacific salmon weighing up to 40lbs. While fishing is the main activity here, it’s by no means the only one: trekking, bird watching and mountain biking are all great ways to explore the beautiful Patagonian countryside and get to know the flora and fauna which populate it.
