Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

Estancia Peuma Hue is just 20 minutes from the town of Bariloche and sits on the Southern tip of Lake Gutierrez in Argentina’s Northern Patagonia Lake District.

Rooms at Estancia Peuma Hue

This traditional Estancia has 12 lake view rooms, distributed between two houses and two log cabins. Decorated in an elegant rustic style, superb views come as standard. Poplar, Radal House and Mountain Cabin have four rooms so are perfect for larger groups or families. For honeymooners we recommend booking the Creek Cabin, with its cozy log fire overlooking the glistening creek.

Food and Drink

The organic vegetable garden provides the basis for the majority of Peuma Hue’s meals, both healthy and gourmet. Bread, pasta, patisserie, jams, honey and preserves are all home-made.

Facilities

Each house or cabin comes with a lounge and a log fire so you can relax in comfort after a day’s activity in the spectacular outdoors. In-room spa treatments are also available.

Activities at Estancia Peuma Hue

A huge range of outdoor activities is on offer at Peuma Hue. You can ride on horseback, bike, hike and climb within the 500 acres of the property through wonderful mountain trails (that also link to the Park trail network). You can paddle in duckies (inflatable kayaks), take boat rides or fly fish at the lake. The Estancia’s horses are trained by a horse whisperer guide who can take you to different riding trails in the area. There are also various hiking options of different lengths and difficulty, taking in waterfalls and hilltops with stunning views. There’s even a set rope course comprising a Tibetan bridge, a high beam crossing, a 70 meter rope for a Tyrolean crossing and a 30 meter wall for abseiling – professional mountain guides are on hand to assist you. Still after more? Take a yoga or Tai Chi class, learn to tango or salsa or enjoy a professional wine tasting course.
