Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

As it follows the sun from the north to the south, the Sea Spirit offers a variety of expeditions from a 10-day Svalbard cruise to a 21-day Falklands, South Georgia and Antarctica adventure.

Rooms onboard Sea Spirit

Accommodating a maximum of 114 passengers onboard, Sea Spirit's cabins are designed to feel homely, light and spacious (the smallest is 20 square metres), all coming with a sofa to give that extra space for relaxation. They all have a nautical colour scheme with wood panelling and mirrors above the beds to reflect light around the cabins. The Deluxe, Premium and Owner’s suites all come with their own private balcony, with the Owner’s suite also including a walk-in closet and a spacious kitchen, bar and lounge area.

Food & Drink

At meal times head to the open-seating restaurant where freshly prepared international cuisine is served, or, weather permitting, head out onto the deck for a light lunch at the Outdoor Bistro. There is also a 24-hour tea and coffee station available.

Facilities

To make the most of the views and enhance wildlife-spotting opportunities there are panoramic open-air decks. There is also an outdoor Jacuzzi, which you can relax in while enjoying the views.

To help quench your thirst for knowledge, there is an extensive Polar Library, or visit the bridge, where there is an open policy, to learn more about the ship. The club lounge also offers nightly entertainment with music as well as a full-service bar.

You will be provided with rubber boots for shore landings, plus a branded Parka.

Activities from Sea Spirit

There will be plenty of opportunities to explore with shore landings including guide-led informative walks and photography workshops. There will also be the opportunity to join Zodiac cruises and, if you’re feeling really adventurous, camping and sea kayaking.

Before and after explorations you will be invited to attend briefings and recaps. A team of multilingual experts will also be onboard to give lectures on their field of expertise.

In between once-in-a-lifetime experiences and becoming more knowledgeable on the Antarctic environment, there will be chances to unwind with events including Captain’s Cocktails providing the chance to socialise with fellow passengers.
