Sense of Place

Fly from Punta Arenas in Chile over to King George Island in two hours. Depending on your choice of itinerary, you will then spend a few nights aboard your cruise on the Ocean Nova, exploring the spectacular White Continent.

The cabins aboard the Ocean Nova are comfortable and practical, and most importantly, warm, and you can watch the ever-changing views from your window. All the en suite cabins have exterior views, and with observation decks at the bow of the ship and a glass-enclosed observation lounge at the stern, Ocean Nova offers wraparound vistas of the surrounding beauty.

Food & Drink

In the spacious dining room, you are treated to delicious chef-prepared meals between landings, and drinks can be enjoyed overlooking the breathtaking views in the panorama lounge.

Facilities

There is a lounge, a library, a bar, a small gym, and a cinema, as well as a toasty sauna for warming up after a day out on excursions. Listen to lectures on topics related to your excursions, including the local flora and fauna.

Activities from the Ocean Nova

The aim is to see as much as possible of these stunning landscapes. Packed with fun and adventure, your trip will include daily landings and cruises in Zodiac boats as well as other excursions such as snowshoeing hikes. There is also the opportunity to spend time with the captain on the bridge, or out on deck for open-air viewing.

You can set sail on the Ocean Nova around the Arctic and Antarctica. For Antarctica cruises, from Punta Arenas in Chile you will take a two-hour flight to King George Island in the South Shetland Islands, from where you will sail to the Antarctic Peninsula.
