In the knowEvery week the family hosts a rodeo show where guests can watch classic rodeo sports up close, including team roping, barrel racing and break-a-way roping, while learning fun facts about the sport and its exciting history.

Rooms at White Stallion Ranch

The rooms, dotted around the ranch, are charmingly decorated, with warm woods and colourful bedspreads. They have ample space and a warm and welcoming feel, and while some feature outdoor fireplaces, they all they have private patios that are perfect for grabbing a beverage of choice, and enjoying the incredible shades of pink, purple, and orange as the sun sets.

Larger groups and families should opt for the Hacienda, which comes with 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, as well as a spacious separate sitting area.

Food & Drink

Dine on classic American cuisine, where home-style recipes are on the menu and created using fresh, quality ingredients. Wake up and enjoy a full continental breakfast and hot food cooked to order.

Lunch and dinner are served buffet style, with a variety of classic American dishes, salads, and sides on offer, which can be enjoyed either inside or on the patio in the sunshine. Refreshing drinks and snacks - including homemade trail mix - are also available throughout the day.

After dinner, head to the bar for a relaxing drink with friends, or gather around the moonlit bonfire and be serenaded by a cowboy singer while sipping a beer.

Facilities

After a long day's ride, relax in the hot tub or rest your aching muscles at the spa, where a range of therapies and treatments are available, including deep tissue massages, body wraps and facials. Have a swim in the outdoor pool, located at the heart of the ranch, with spectacular mountain views and plenty of comfortable poolside lounge chairs.

There's a modern fitness centre, tennis and basketball courts and a recreation centre. Younger guests will love the petting zoo, which is home to a variety of animals, many of whom have been rescued from less fortunate circumstances. 

Activities at White Stallion Ranch

Based on your riding ability, the wranglers will pair you with your horse for the duration of your stay. Whether you're an experienced rider or a beginner, the ranch has an extensive range of riding opportunities to suit all skill levels. The 3.5-hour half-day rides offer varied routes and can be either slow or fast. Or try your hand at the adrenaline-filled 8-hour, 20-mile full-day ride, loping through the picturesque Saguaro National Park, stopping off for lunch and to view petroglyphs on the way. Get in the saddle and channel your inner cowboy or cowgirl! 

Other experiences include delicious cheese and wine rides, offering guests a scenic trip through the ranch with a tempting selection of wines, assorted cheeses and breads included, while getting involved with team cattle sorting gives guests an opportunity to acquire the skills of working with cattle.

Whilst horse riding through the desert is the main attraction, alternative activities including E-biking, rock climbing, shooting and archery are available for an action-packed trip. Escape the sun with leatherwork classes, watercolour classes or horseshoe decorating. Learn to dance like a local with a line dancing lesson and discover the stars above in an evening astrology show using large telescopes.
