Food & drink

The hotel’s owners, Adam and Kristen Rex, are also its chefs, lending the North Creek Grill a homely, relaxed atmosphere. Only the best quality, freshest ingredients are used, including grass-fed beef reared on the Rex Ranch, and dishes are hearty and simple, ranging from gourmet burgers to steaks and pizza. The restaurant is open between May and October; if you’re staying outside of these times, or fancy eating out in town, Circle D Eatery and Escalante Outfitters Café are local favourites.

Higher end rooms and suites have their own whirlpool tubs – the perfect way to unwind after a hard day’s hiking or riding in the desert. The Spooky Gluch suite has a private patio with barbecue, as well as a kitchenette, while the Isaac Riddle Cabin has a full kitchen and outdoor barbecue.
