Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

Canyon Ranch is set on more than 150 acres in Arizona's Sonoran Desert, where you can take advantage of year-round sunshine, clear desert air and breathtaking canyon and mountain landscapes dotted with giant saguaro cacti.

Rooms at Canyon Ranch

The cosy rooms come with soft feather beds with Italian linens, and artworks and decor inspired by the colours of the Southwest, with views over the desert and the mountains beyond. Go to sleep soothed by the sound machine, and wake up to birdsong. The spacious suites come with 1 to 3 bedrooms and have kitchens and private patios, while Casa Grande, which sleeps up to six people in style, is perfect for families and groups.

Food & Drink

Enjoy delicious food here, with something for all diets, including gluten-free options, from banana pancakes and fresh fruit juice for breakfast to an evening meal of smoked trout and Canyon Ranch salad, enjoyed al fresco under the vast desert skies. Nutrition and calorie information is on every item on the menu, so you know exactly what you are eating, and everything is carefully selected, from grass-fed meat to sustainably caught fish.
Take a cookery class to unleash your inner chef, and get some inspiration on eating healthily with a visit to local farmer's markets for tempting seasonal goodies.
There is no alcohol on offer at the resort. You are welcome to bring some to consume in your rooms if you wish, but the whole ethos here is on health and wellness and it is recommended that this is embraced to get the full benefits of the Canyon Ranch experience.

Facilities

The 80,000 sq ft spa offers a wide range of treatments for relaxation and pampering, while there are also four indoor and outdoor pools. Continue the wellness theme with fitness classes, tennis, golf and healthy living programmes tailored to suit you, in consultation with the ranch's experts. Learn tips and tricks for healthy living that are aimed to sustain you long after you've left the resort.
It's not all about fitness though: also on offer are art classes - take advantage of this relaxed environment to unleash your creative side!
After a busy but exhilarating day, reward yourself with a hot stone massage, and enjoy mocktails in the lounge, accompanied by live music.

Activities at Canyon Ranch

The health kick doesn't end at the resort - hop on a bike for a scenic ride into Tucson to explore its historic architecture and enjoy its authentic Mexican food, or set out on an invigorating hike around the photogenic canyons and the towering Santa Catalina Mountains.
