Hotel Overview

Where

Almost 7,000 feet above sea level in Jackson Hole, a high mountain valley in northwest Wyoming.

Rooms at Amangani

There are 40 suites at Amangani, all with their own separate sleeping and living areas, alongside bathrooms and dressing rooms. Each has a fireplace, a daybed to lounge on and decks or balconies with mountain and valley views. The interiors mirror the Wild West atmosphere outside, with cowhide chairs, pine tables and redwood floors. The bathroom has twin sinks and even the tub doesn’t miss out on the views, with a large window to enjoy the scenery from as you soak.

Food and facilities

The Grill focuses on sustainable ranch meats, seasonal farm produce and fresh fish with spectacular views, and can also prepare picnic lunches if you’re heading out for the day, while the lounge is ideal for casual afternoon or evening meals. Massages, spa treatments and fitness sessions can be enjoyed in the hotel’s spa, beside the pool or in the privacy of your own room.  A 35 metre outdoor heated swimming pool is perfect for a dip, and there’s a library stocked with books, CDs and DVDs and a gallery featuring art, crafts and jewellery from the surrounding area.

Activities at Amangani

Arguably one of the best places to visit during wintertime, Jackson Hole gets about 400 inches of snowfall annually and is a prime ski destination: twenty minutes away from Amangani is the hotel’s private ski lounge, in the mountain village of Teton, which offers ski lessons and equipment, as well as snacks and beverages. The rest of the year means time to explore the nearby Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks, truly stunning expanses of countryside, home to North America’s most fascinating wildlife, scenery and colourful geysers.
