Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

Hawks Cay Resort has a pretty setting on Duck Key, midway down the Florida Keys chain.

Rooms at Hawks Cay Resort

Situated on Duck Key, midway down the Florida Keys chain, the resort has its own marina, while on land, accommodation sprawls over 60 acres, nestled amongst the swaying palm trees and azure blue waters, and is divided into four distinct villages, all exuding the laid-back charm of the Keys, with classic Caribbean decor. The rooms are modern and tastefully colourful with local furniture and fabric designs, with some including balconies or lanais that open up onto the pool or the island waterway.

The villas along the harbour are modern and quaint, while the two-storey Sanctuary Village Villas include private splash pools and attractive white wooden exteriors. If you want to dip your toes in the sand and enjoy sunsets over the sea, opt for one of the Sunset Village villas or indulge in lavish spaciousness in one of the Penthouse Suites.

Food & drink

When it comes to dining and drinking, you can choose from several tempting restaurants and bars studded around the resort, so you're never too far from your next delicious meal or refreshing drink. From prime steak and fresh seafood at Sixty-One Prime to poolside snacks and tropical cocktails at the Tiki Grill, the dining options at Hawks Cay are plentiful and offer something for everyone.

Facilities

There are several swimming pools, from an exclusive adults-only pool to a children's pool with a pirate ship. The resort also has an award-winning spa where you can relax and unwind with an indulgent massage.

Activities at Hawks Cay Resort

The activity options at Hawks Cay are countless - from fishing charters and diving excursions to water sports like jet-skiing, parasailing and paddle boarding, there's no shortage of fun things to do.

Children are well looked after here too, with designated kids and teens clubs, with something for all ages: little ones can make tie-dye t-shirts, go snorkelling, set sail on tiki boats in the saltwater lagoon, compete in sporting contests and hang out at kids parties. Teenagers get together to play basketball, volleyball and kickball, or try kiteboarding and kayaking, and there's even a games room with Wii, PlayStation, Xbox and more.
