Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

The Amara Cay Resort sits by the beach on Islamorada, halfway between Key West and Miami.

Rooms at Amara Cay Resort

Inspired by their natural surroundings, the spacious rooms and suites feature wood and rattan furnishings, in cool neutral colour palettes with splashes of ocean blue. Private balconies make the most of the views over the palm-fringed beach and the sea.

Food & Drink

Reelburger's makes the most of Islamorada’s plentiful seafood, such as fish tacos and grilled jumbo shrimp as well as signature burgers and twists on classic desserts such as Key lime pie. The Tiki Bar offers a range of irresistible cocktails.

Facilities

The bar is perched next to Amara Cay’s large pool, and there’s also an outdoor whirlpool and a fitness centre, as well as a playground if you are travelling with children.

Activities at Amara Cay Resort

Swing in a hammock on the stretch of private beach in front of the hotel, bask in the sun on your private balcony or go for a game of bocce. A Mercedes is on hand to scoot you around the island, or if you want to head out on the water, go kayaking or diving - the ocean's reefs and colourful marine life are right on your doorstep, and Amara Cay's dive shop, Sea Monkey's, has everything you need.
