Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

Downtown Santa Barbara, in the Presidio district.

Rooms at Spanish Garden Inn

The large rooms, over 400sq ft to be precise, sprawl across the three buildings and feel more like apartments than bedrooms. Romantic touches, such as fireplaces, four-poster beds and balconies overlooking the garden, help add to their charm as do the en suite bathrooms with oversized soaking tubs, beamed ceilings and beautifully painted tiles.
For a jasmine-scented breeze through your room, go for one with a garden patio.

Food & Drink

A generous buffet breakfast of fresh fruit, quiche, granola, yoghurt and breads will keep you going until the freshly baked cookies come out of the oven in the late afternoon. For lunch and dinner, the concierge is on hand to give you their recommendations and to help book a table if you wish.
Before you dash out for dinner, you can watch the sun set from your balcony with a glass of wine from the surrounding Santa Barbara, Santa Rita and Santa Ynez valleys or quench your thirst with a domestic beer from the hotel’s Wine Bar.

Facilities

If you are looking to burn off some extra energy, get your heart-rate going in the fitness centre or do a couple laps in the heated outdoor pool.

Activities at Spanish Garden Inn

Relax on your terrace, indulge in an aromatherapy spa treatment or stroll through the peaceful garden. With year-round whale watching available, take a boat trip along California’s coast to spot these underwater giants or take a Jeep tour of the nearby wine country.
