Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

Calistoga Ranch is in California’s beautiful Napa Valley, by Lake Lommel.

Rooms at Calistoga Ranch

Nestled in the trees are attractive wooden lodges, each with private terraces and floor-to-ceiling windows, which let the Californian sun flood into the rooms. For those warm summer days, the outdoor shower and the open-air living room are wonderful for soaking up the sunshine and the fresh air. A fireplace and a blissfully comfortable bed complete the lodges, making the accommodation suitable for all months of the year.

There are one-bedroom and two-bedroom lodges, plus a secluded Estate Lodge tucked into the forest, with two bedrooms, two living rooms (one indoors, the other outdoors, but both with fireplaces) and a terrace with a Jacuzzi.

Food & Drink

The Lakehouse restaurant is set on the bank of Lake Lommel ,with the forest behind it. As well as delicious, locally-sourced food, you can also sample some of the Napa region’s excellent wines from their extensive list. Aside from the restaurant, you can dine privately in your lodge or enjoy a snack by the pool.

Facilities

The Bathhouse is a spa well worth visiting, a haven of wooden cabins and stone walls luxuriating amongst the woodland of the Napa Valley, where you can soak in the natural healing mineral waters of the valley. You can take yoga classes to unwind, and there is also a pool with a sundeck, a gym and a lounge in the Lakehouse, which is perfect for an evening cocktail.

Activities at Calistoga Ranch

Calistoga Ranch has its own private vineyard, where you can sample some of their own-label wines after a seminar on wine tasting. There are also private trails through the grounds of varying difficulty, so you can pick according to how energetic you’re feeling! Take a bicycle out on the trails, or test your hand-eye-coordination on the Bocce courts.

Outside the resort, you can explore the hundreds of wineries around the Napa Valley, go horse riding or golfing, or even get a bird's eye view of the beautiful region from a hot air balloon.
