Belmond El Encanto has a choice of Luxury Suites, Bungalow Suites and Bungalows. With king-size beds, fireplaces and private terraces, the accommodation is comfortable and chic, with heated stone floors in the bathrooms. The Premier Bungalow Suites have private gardens or patios and the view from the rooms is fantastic – especially the ocean view options, which look down the hillside towards the Pacific.

Food & Facilities

The Dining Room and Terrace has a gorgeous view from the hill towards Santa Barbara and the coastline, and you can eat al fresco on the terrace in the summer. Californian cuisine is on the menu, with an Asian and French fusion twist. All the food is made with locally-sourced produce as far as possible – and the cheese is even made from the milk of Belmond El Encanto’s cow, Ellie! The Lounge serves lighter bites and you can quench your thirst in the bar, which serves American and Japanese bar snacks. The pool is a real selling point for Belmond El Encanto and is situated in a stunning position atop a hill overlooking Santa Barbara, the beach and finally the sparkling Pacific. Chill out and unwind in the spa; lounge by the pool; or take advantage of the gym.
