Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

The Cotton House occupies the best spot on Mustique, one of the most exclusive private islands in the world. It sits in 13 acres of lush tropical gardens, leading down to Endeavour Bay.

Rooms at The Cotton House

The luxurious rooms, suites and cottages have muslin-draped four-poster beds and plunge pools, with spacious verandas for private dining and relaxing, alongside sweeping views over the gardens, Endeavour Bay and the neighbouring islands.

The two-bedroom suites, with private plunge pools, and the cottages, overlooking the gardens, are ideal for families. The Residence, with its panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, is rather special, with a private swimming pool, two luxurious bedroom suites and a dedicated butler.

Food & Drink

For lunch, dine on fresh seafood and tropical fruit by the beach beneath the palm trees at the Beach Café, followed by freshly-made ice creams and sorbets from the Ice Cream Parlour - or choose from the numerous idyllic options around the beaches and shoreline for a picnic, and the staff will prepare it and set it up for you. In the evening, linger over the exquisite Caribbean-inspired menu at the Veranda restaurant, washed down with award-winning wines.

For delicious cocktails, including refreshing Caribbean rum, head to the Great Room, with its elegant colonial interiors of limewashed woods and West Indian artefacts, or visit the Beach Bar on the bay to sip a tropical cocktail as the sun sets over the sea.

There's also a weekly island cocktail party at the hotel, and while you're in Mustique, don't miss the chance to have some sunset rum punch, accompanied by jazz at the legendary Basil's Bar, which is a favourite with celebrities and VIP visitors to the island.

Facilities

Relax in the spa, which offers a bespoke organic range of massages and treatments guaranteed to revitalise you, or unwind with some yoga. Cool off from the sun in style with a dip in the swimming pool.

Activities at The Cotton House

There is a water sports centre on the beach, so it's easy to indulge in a range of water sports: enjoy snorkelling and diving in the crystal-clear waters, beach hop around the island’s nine beaches, or go on a day trip to one of the neighbouring Grenadine islands (swimming and snorkelling with hawksbill turtles at the Tobago Cays is a must).

Back on land, hone your tennis skills, go horse riding along deserted beaches and around the hills, or practise your swing at the championship golf course on the nearby island of Canouan.
