Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

One of the oldest and most established resorts in St Lucia, East Winds is set amongst 12 acres of lush tropical gardens which are home to gorgeous trees, plants and native birdlife and bordered by the golden beachfront of one of the most pristine bays on the island.

Rooms at East Winds

Choose between the spacious, but still romantically cosy cottages or ocean-front rooms and suites, all of which come with a private balcony or patio overlooking the lovingly tended tropical gardens.

The air-conditioned rooms are informal, yet elegant and private, and have high wooden-beamed ceilings, nature-inspired textile designs and tropical flower arrangements throughout. Enjoy open-plan living areas in the suites as well as wooden floors and stunning ocean views, or opt for one of the Superior Cottages and relax in the shaded patio with a good book or refreshing drink. Deluxe Cottages also feature expansive, modern bathrooms, with large sunken showers.

Food & Drink

The hotel offers some of the best food and wine in the Caribbean, so indulge in delicious, fresh lobster washed down with cocktails by the beach at lunchtime, then a glass of champagne with a different four-course gourmet menu every night. Relax in the sun by the beachfront pool and make the most of the self-service swim-up bar or experience a romantic meal for two along with some rum punch under the thatched gazebos that line the beach.

Facilities

Recharge in the East Winds Garden Spa with natural, organic treatments which use products that can also be found in the garden of medicinal herbs and plants. Opt for a hibiscus infused age-defying facial or soothe your skin with the cooling aloe vera treatment before hitting the gym for a holiday workout.

Do as little or as much as you like, from strolling around the gardens to a game of table tennis. Take part in a yoga or Pilates class on the beach or burn off all your delicious meals at a circuit class.
