The exquisite suites and four-bedroom villas are positioned by the beach, and all offer spectacular, panoramic sea views. Drawing inspiration from the island and bringing the outside in, the interiors have been carefully designed: exotic and sustainable wood and stone adorn the rooms from top to bottom, and each room features chic bespoke furnishings and signature mirrors by world-renowned designer Christian Liaigre. Most have private terraces and gardens or a private pool overlooking the sea.

Also designed by Christian Liaigre, Le Sereno's open-air restaurant offers an exciting dining experience, and takes advantage of the dramatic surroundings by giving diners a water view from almost every angle. Chef Alex Simone uses the freshest ingredients, including the bounty of the Caribbean Sea, in gourmet dishes that fit perfectly with the restaurant's beachfront setting. Try the signature seafood paccheri, made from local spiny lobster that arrives daily to the hotel's private beach.

For casual dining under the shade of coconut trees, head to the restaurant on the beach for simple yet delicious cuisine such as fresh salads, sandwiches and burgers, which are best paired with a little rosé while lounging by the pool or relaxing on the beach. The sleek St Barths bar and lounge invites you to try out unique cocktails that are as artistic as they are delicious.

The spa has three treatment rooms, including a water pavilion, where you can pamper yourself from an extensive menu of facials, body wraps and massages - or be pampered in the comfort of your room. For a workout, head to the well-equipped gym, which has a well-designed garden that provides a serene space for yoga or meditation.

Grab your complimentary snorkelling equipment and explore the treasure trove of coral reefs and vibrant marine life, including dolphins, exotic fish and sea turtles, or go on a scuba dive. Le Sereno is also perfect for kite-surfing, as the lagoon is shallow, the coral reef stops the waves and there is plenty of wind. The calm waters also make this a great spot for children to kayak and paddleboard or just frolic in the water.

Play a game of tennis, or take a hike on the elevated coastal trail to view the coral reefs and glistening waters, as well as wild goats. Alternatively, drift in the legendary fishing waters of St Barths whilst reeling in a blue marlin or a yellowfin tuna.
