Luxury Holidays in St Kitts & Nevis

St Kitts & Nevis holidays are as idyllic as the Caribbean comes: this two-island nation offers mountainous scenery, unspoilt white sandy beaches and friendly locals, and a luxury holiday or honeymoon to one or both of the islands comes highly recommended.

St Kitts is the larger of the two islands and home to the international airport. As a result there is more of a buzz on this island, and visitors will find the picture-perfect beaches paired with plenty to keep them entertained. In the French colonial capital of Basseterre, admire charming architecture or visit the historic National Museum. Alternatively, visit the island’s UNESCO-protected Brimstone Hill Fortress, which is built high on a hill with stunning sea views. For those looking for bars, restaurants and a bit of nightlife, the Frigate Bay and Cockleshell Bay areas are the places to go.

Across the water, Nevis is the small, laid-back epitome of simple Caribbean charm. This enchanting island is old-fashioned, but in a delightful way, being home to intimate island inns, colonial architecture, unspoiled tropical rainforest and golden-sand beaches. Only six by eight miles in size, this incredibly lush island is dominated by the rugged Nevis Peak, a huge volcanic mountain with views of neighbouring St Kitts in the distance.

HIGHLIGHTS OF ST KITTS & NEVIS

Stroll along the pretty streets and soak up the history of Basseterre, St Kitts' capital, relaxing on one of island's beautiful beaches afterwards.

By law, no building in Nevis’ capital of Charlestown can be taller than a palm tree. This means you won’t find high-rise hotels but plenty of charming plantation-style hotels which offer fantastic hospitality.

Go hiking and walking. Views of sugarcane fields and volcanic hills make for wonderful walks, as do the lush tropical rainforests where monkeys await.

Take in the views of Nevis from St Kitts' UNESCO-protected Brimstone Hill Fortress.

Drink potent passion fruit and rum ‘Killer Bee’ cocktails whilst watching the sun go down on Nevis’ Pinney’s Beach.
