Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

The Caves is made up of a labyrinth of grottoes carved into and atop the volcanic cliffside of western Jamaica, near to Negril town.

Rooms At The Caves

There are 11 cottages and suites at the hotel, plus a four-bedroom deluxe villa. All of the accommodation is nestled in lush indigenous tropical gardens but inside each has been individually designed and decorated. Expect earthy tones and natural materials with bright colours and bold patterns used to add some fun Caribbean character.

Food & Drink

Cuisine at the hotel’s two restaurants, The Gazebo and Bamboo Terrace, is fresh, informal and locally inspired, with Jamaican jerk barbecues and fresh banana pancakes both popular choices. Alternatively, enjoy a more sophisticated five-course private dinner, set under the stars on the cliff’s edge or in a cave strewn with fresh bougainvillea petals and lit by candlelight.

There are also two lively and atmospheric bars, The Sands, a relaxed beach bar, and Blackwell Rum Bar, which is set in a candlelit cave at the water’s edge.

Facilities

Relax and unwind as you gaze out to sea during a pampering treatment at the Aveda Spa or, for the more active, take one of the hotel's kayaks out and explore the area from the water.

Activities At The Caves

For the brave, scare the flip flops off one another by jumping off one of the hotel’s cliff diving points with a professional guide. Alternatively, guided snorkelling tours take you through hidden caves and grottoes, or you could head in to town and check out the bars, shops and restaurants in Negril.
