Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

Le Mahogany Hotel Residence & Spa sits on the southern coastline of Guadeloupe, and is set in lush gardens with a perfect tropical beach on one side and the island’s forested interior on the other.

Rooms at Le Mahogany Hotel Residence & Spa

The rooms and suites are light, bright and spacious with a simple, elegant design, living up to the hotel’s name, with rich dark wood furniture complemented by tiled floors and colourful wall art depicting tropical plants. Several garden level rooms offer charming private terraces, perfect for relaxing and admiring the stunning views of the ocean and the hotel grounds.

The huge Mahogany Suite has cheerful pastel-coloured armchairs and sofas, and a large furnished balcony overlooking the sea.

Food & Drink

Le Zawag is the place to go for authentic Creole-style cuisine, in an elegant wood-panelled setting modelled on a traditional fishing boat. Keep an eye out for the seafood dishes in particular – the local lobster is a speciality. At La Route des Epices, meanwhile, American buffet breakfasts by the pool are a perfect way to begin the day, and you can return to a rotating dinner menu of international buffets, including Italian, Chinese, Creole and grilled dishes.

Facilities

The soothing Creole Spa is a relaxing space whose range of wellness treatments are guaranteed to keep you looking and feeling your best. There’s a hammam and a sauna, as well as a balneotherapy cabin where treatments use mineral-rich mud and water. Alternatively, relax by the pool or check out the live music at La Creole Jazz Club.

Activities at Le Mahogany Hotel Residence & Spa

Explore Guadeloupe’s beautiful landscapes and fascinating culture, from rum factory tours to forest hikes. If you’re feeling adventurous, try out the water sports at Kaz Notik, including jet skiing, tubing, paddle boarding and windsurfing: you can even don a pair of jet boots and give flyboarding a try. GoPro cameras are available for hire, so you can make a record of all your adventures.

Table tennis, bocce and board games are among the more gentle family activities on offer.
