Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

Langley Resort’s beach, with photogenic black rocks and palm trees giving way to a crest of golden sand, is one of the most beautiful beaches in Guadeloupe, while the hotel’s tropical gardens are supremely relaxing.

Rooms at Langley Resort Fort Royal

The rooms have a breezy, beachy feel, with maritime blue-and-white textiles, stone floors and wooden furniture. Some rooms overlook the Caribbean Sea from the hotel’s main building, and many have private balconies to make the most of the views, while the beautiful bungalows, with their circular thatched ceilings and wooden screens, sit in the lovely bungalow village, surrounded by the hotel’s tropical gardens.

Food & Drink

Dining here gives you the chance to savour tradidtional Creole food and the ocean-fresh seafood which Guadeloupe is famous for, among a wide range of other options, which you can enjoy right on the beach. Le Royal, the flagship restaurant, serves delicious Caribbean-international fusion dishes on an a la carte and buffet basis, with pizzas, curries and grilled meats among the offerings.

The informal Kawann Beach Bar also serves light bites as well as cocktails featuring Caribbean rum, staying open until the middle of the night.

Facilities

The thatched massage hut, perched on rocks overlooking the sea, is the place to go for a range of treatments including Californian and Swedish massage and reflexology treatments, among many others. The pool and beach are both lovely places for a dip, while yoga classes are offered between November and April.

Activities at Langley Resort Fort Royal

The Sail & Surf Centre offers a variety of water-based fun, including jet skiing, windsurfing and kayaking. Scuba diving is another option for exploring the beautiful coral reefs which fringe Guadeloupe.

On dry land, there are tennis courts (and instructors) at the resort, plus a kids club to keep children entertained, while excursions can take you out to the rainforest, waterfalls, volcanoes and sugar cane fields which make up the island's gorgeous interior.
