When to go to Guadeloupe

Guadeloupe enjoys a warm tropical climate, with plenty of sunshine and temperatures generally staying between a pleasant 25 and 32 degrees all year. Due to the different landscapes on the islands, weather can vary across the archipelago. For example, you might find that while the beaches on Grand-Terre are hot and sunny, the dense rainforest on mountainous Basse-Terre will still be cool and lush.

The best time to visit Guadeloupe is between December and April, when the islands are in dry season and the weather is most sunny. That said, travelling just outside of this time (in November and May or even in early summer) will still provide plenty of sunshine and really good deals on hotels. Hurricane season falls between mid-August and early October and you can expect more rain and the odd storm at this time of year, though Guadeloupe is not as badly affected as many of the other Caribbean islands.

LMIE is a European public limited liability company and is supervised by the Commissariat aux Assurances and licensed by the Luxembourg Minister of Finance as an insurance and reinsurance company. This insurance is only valid for passengers who book with Exsus Travel Ltd.
