Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

The Spice Island Beach Resort is set on the beautiful Grand Anse Beach, which stretches for two miles, making it perfect for long strolls on the sand.

Rooms at Spice Island Beach Resort

The elegant rooms and suites deliver chic style and timeless luxury, with bright Caribbean twists and lush tropical gardens. Beachfront living does not get much better than this, with rooms set on the golden sands of the beach, and suites with their own private pool. The plush beds come with Frette linens and the sleek bathrooms have Molton Brown toiletries, and there are Alexa devices and Nespresso coffee machines in all rooms.

We particularly love the Seagrape Beach Suites, as they are some of the only hotel rooms in the Caribbean where you can step off your terrace directly on to the beach - and Grand Anse also happens to be one of the most spectacular beaches in the world.

Food & Drink

There are two restaurants to choose from: the Sea and Surf Terrace for al fresco dining by the sea, and Oliver's Restaurant for excellent Creole and international food. You can also sample fine wines and tropical cocktails, with Grenada's best calypso, reggae and steel bands to get you in the mood.

To unwind and rejuvenate, have a dip in the pool, or visit the heavenly spa, which offers a range of treatments featuring local herbs, spices and chocolate, and treat yourself in the Gatsby designer boutiques. If you have the family in tow, there's a colourful activity centre for children.

Activities at Spice Island Beach Resort

Indulge in a range of water sports, including diving with the PADI-certified Aquanauts dive centre, go on a scenic and leisurely sailing trip, borrow one of the hotel's bikes to explore, or trek in the lush tropical rainforest. There are shops and restaurants within easy walking distance, and a visit to the colourful local Saturday market is also a must!

Alternatively, relax in style and enjoy the postcard-perfect beach and the clear waters of the Caribbean - the beach shelves gently and the water is usually calm, making it ideal for swimming.
