Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

Calabash overlooks the Caribbean in L’Anse Aux Epines, surrounded by tropical gardens, beaches and the sea. Run by the Garbutt family, this hotel prides itself on its personalised service for each and every guest.

Rooms at Calabash

With just 33 suites and five villas, Calabash has an intimate feel. They sit in a horseshoe shape surrounded by eight acres of tropical landscaped gardens. The contemporary decor incorporates attractive cream and pastel shades, and they come with TVs and fully-stocked mini-bars.

Some have their own private pools for the ultimate indulgence, with free-standing bath tubs on the pool deck, overlooking the gardens and the sea.

Food & Drink

Tuck into a freshly-cooked breakfast served on your own private terrace or balcony every morning, whilst for lunch, enjoy the catch of the day at the relaxed beach bar. Dinner is always a treat at Calabash: the impressive restaurant features a gourmet menu including beef tenderloin and lobster soufflé.

Facilities

Enjoy a dip in the floodlit pool or head for the spa for a massage, followed by a cocktail on the white-sand beach.

Activities at Calabash

Grenada is without a doubt one of the prettiest islands in the Caribbean and an island tour is a must-do: visit a spice plantation, take a trail through the lush rainforest or sample the local rum. A visit to sister island Carriacou also comes highly recommended, or enjoy a sunset champagne cruise. You can also go kayaking or windsurfing, or dive around some of the Caribbean’s best reefs.
