The weather in the Dominican Republic is blissfully warm all year round, but it is simply perfect beach weather between December and April, and this is also a great time for snorkelling, diving and whale watching. November and March are prime months to spot turtles making their way up the beaches to lay their eggs. The rainy season runs from May to November, but this usually just means short, sharp showers, followed by sunshine again.
