A 30-minute boat ride from the north-western coast of Cuba, Cayo Levisa is part of the picture-perfect archipelago of Los Colorados.

It’s all about taking it easy on Cayo Levisa: swinging in a hammock, indulging in a massage and going for leisurely strolls down the beach. But this area is also an incredible diving spot, with 21 dive sites on the colourful coral reef 100 metres from the shoreline. Divers (or even snorkelers) can marvel at tropical fish, sponges, black coral and shipwrecks from the 17th century. Otherwise you can try your hand at salsa dancing and beach volleyball, or take part in Spanish lessons.
