Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

Despite being the tallest hotel on the island, the grand size of Seafire is by no means imposing, set back from the waterfront with a palm-fringed pool and a sweeping expanse of Seven Mile Beach on its doorstep. The hotel’s design combines beach-inspired rustic-chic with quirky modern designs and popping colours.

Rooms at Kimpton Seafire Resort & Spa

The rooms here are all about the views. Floor to ceiling sliding doors maximise the allure of the turquoise ocean each morning, opening onto your private balcony. For us, the higher the floor, the more spectacular the view. Inside, a neutral palette features bursts of bright fuschia, eccentric patterns and sea-inspired artwork. Rooms on the opposite side overlook the North Sound and the glamorous area of Governors Creek.

The ensuite bathrooms feature walk in rain showers, double vanity units, and in the Spa Studio, a free standing oval tub with luxurious natural treatments for a private pamper session.

Food & Drink

Seafire’s three dining destinations are a delight to all the senses. At Ave, fresh food is served with exquisite finesse and presentation. Dine indoors in the open plan, elegant yet relaxed restaurant, or sit out on the terrace with views onto Seven Mile Beach. In a morning, Ave’s breakfast buffet puts on a tantalising array of local and international delicacies. Just ask the chef at the open cooking station to whisk up your own customised omelette.

Under the wing of Ave, Avecita is nestled within the main restaurant, and is the hotel’s dinner-only venue.  For something a little more exclusive in the evening, their tapas-style tastings are a must, while the beachfront Coccoloba is our favourite spot to sip cocktails with uninterrupted sunset panoramas and live background music.

Facilities

The Spa at Seafire is a true haven of serenity. The design brings Grand Cayman’s natural beauty indoors, with aquatic and botanic inspiration throughout. With seven treatment rooms and a vast selection of soothing services and treatments, you’re truly pampered here. Sit back in the soaking tub, nestled in its own enclave, or treat your skin to a facial.

For the younger guests of the hotel, Camp Seafire is the place to express creativity and have fun in safe hands. The kids club aims to connect generations of Cayman communities, traditions and culture with exciting activities and programs.

Take a front row seat at sunset on one of the beach loungers or a private cabana, or cool off in the palm-fringed pool. If you’re into keeping fit while away, the 24-hour fitness centre is on hand with cutting-edge equipment, complete with views onto the landscaped lawns.

Each evening, the hotel offers its guests an hour of complementary wine, perfect for sipping before you head down for dinner later on.

Activities at Kimpton Seafire Resort & Spa

When you’re not out exploring the island, Kimpton Seafire offers a world of outdoor activities. Try out a yoga paddle boarding class or sail out to sea on one of the resort’s Hobie Cat boats. If you’re more of an adrenaline-seeker, whizz across the uncrowded waters on a jet ski. Your resort fee also includes the use of GoPros and snorkelling equipment to truly make the most of the crystal Caribbean waters and their underwater world.
