The whitewashed coral stone cottage suites feature classic colonial decor with four-poster beds and fully-equipped kitchens, with terraces overlooking the tropical gardens or the ocean. For families and larger groups, there is a collection of luxurious three-bedroom, three-bathroom suites.

Sample the fabulous cuisine at one of Barbados' most famous restaurants. The Fish Pot, which is situated within a 17th-century fort by the sea. This is one of the best fresh seafood fine-dining restaurants on the island, and is popular with both locals and visitors alike.

Mullins Beach, just 4km away, offers water-skiing, jet skiing, Hobie Cat sailing and much more. Head south along the west coast and explore the wonderful beaches, bars and restaurants. Sightseeing around the island can include visits to museums, the wildlife reserve, plantation houses and Harrison’s Cave.
