Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

The Inn at English Harbour sits on a white-sand beach in the stunning English Harbour, which extends along the south-western coastal tip of Antigua. Guests are perfectly located to explore English Harbour, one of the most delightful and picturesque parts of Antigua, packed with historic legends and true natural beauty. Marked by the passage of Admiral Lord Horatio Nelson, it provides an alluring blend of history and charm in one of the most famous locations in the Caribbean.

Rooms at The Inn at English Harbour

With a relatively small number of rooms, there is a sense of privacy and seclusion. They feature neutral tones and polished dark mahogany floors and have either a terrace or balcony. We highly recommend the Deluxe Suites for their vaulted ceilings and spacious layout, or one of the two Beach Cabanas which sit on the sand, providing a magnificent view over the entire harbour – early booking is essential for one of these!

Food & Drink

Dining is a wonderful culinary experience here. Delectable dishes and a comprehensive wine cellar, supported by friendly and discreet service, has given the inn a good reputation for fine dining. The Reef opens for breakfast and lunch, offering Caribbean and international food, while the traditional Terrace restaurant in the original house is a fantastic setting for an al fresco candlelit dinner beneath the stars.

Facilities

Enjoy a massage in the spa, relax on a sunlounger by the pool or on the hotel’s secluded beach, head to the fitness centre for a holiday workout or simply walk around the beautiful garden.

Activities at The Inn at English Harbour

There’s plenty on offer to keep guests busy. The hotel offers a complimentary water taxi to Nelson’s Dockyard, or you can choose to make your own way there via a crystal kayak. Other activities include tennis and snorkelling, and guests can take out paddle boats, enjoy a round of golf, or go water-skiing, scuba diving, sunfish sailing and deep-sea fishing.
