Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

Jumby Bay Island has an idyllic, secluded setting: it lies on a 300-acre private island, two miles off the coast of Antigua.

Rooms at Jumby Bay

Dotted around the hotel are light, spacious rooms and suites with high ceilings and wraparound terraces to make the most of the ubiquitous sea views. They have a crisp and stylish feel, with colonial-inspired decor, while the suites come with hammocks and outdoor showers. With some having their own pool, and others are located directly on the beach, this is island luxury at its best.

For larger groups or families, the villas are superb options, with private pools and unparalleled ocean views.

Food & Drink

Simplicity and sophistication evoke the dining experience at Jumby Bay Island, with gourmet dishes featuring ingredients from the island's organic farm. The Estate House, overlooking the main island of Antigua, provides the ideal setting for fine Mediterranean-influenced dining, or for more casual dining, try the open-air Jumby Bay Veranda or the Pool Grille, set by the oceanfront infinity-edge pool, for a waterside snack.

Facilities

With several swimming pools to choose from, a beachfront pool, a veranda pool and an infinity pool, Jumby Bay Island is known as an ‘aquatic sanctuary’, with plenty of attractive spots to relax in. Alternatively, try the award-winning Jumby Bay Spa, which uses traditional herbalist serums, reinforcing its West Indian heritage.

For more active guests, the fitness centre and tennis courts are perfect for letting off some steam.

Activities at Jumby Bay

The resort offers a host of water activities, from snorkelling and sailing to diving and sunset cruises. Guests can go on scenic hikes, play croquet and tennis or enjoy a round of golf on the island.

Take advantage of the bicycles, a lovely way to explore the island, with children's bicycles available. There are also kids clubs with action-packed programmes of outdoor adventures to keep the younger ones occupied, whilst the adults sit back and relax on the beach with a book (and cocktail) in hand.
