Luxury Holidays To Antigua

As a coral-based island, Antigua’s beaches are the purest white you can get – it doesn’t get much better than this, from the idyllic Half Moon Bay, protected by a reef and surrounded by lush greenery, to the pink-tinged sands of 17 Mile Beach and the white sands of Dickenson Bay. Throw in some fascinating heritage and colourful laid-back villages that are typical of the Caribbean, mix in direct flights, add great restaurants and some of the best luxury hotels in the Caribbean, and you’ll understand why Antigua has never lost its touch.

A former British colony, Antigua has an English feel, which can be seen in its bustling capital, St John's, where you'll find colonial buildings, and in its historic forts, and visit the 18th-century UNESCO-listed Nelson’s Dockyard in English Harbour.

As well as serene sheltered bays and coves dotted around the island, Antigua is a great spot for water sports, from snorkelling and diving to windsurfing, while golfers can tee off on some scenic golf courses. Take a short speedboat ride to Stingray City to see hundreds of stingrays glide through the crystal-clear waters.

HIGHLIGHTS OF ANTIGUA

Beautiful white sand beaches. Legend has it there are 365 beaches in Antigua, one for every day of the year, so you can easily visit a different one each day.

History and heritage at Nelson’s Dockyard. If you don’t want to lie on the beach all day, a wander around this picturesque harbour is a great historic hit.

Sailing on the east coast. Sheltered by a barrier reef, but treated to warm trade winds year-round, Nonsuch Bay is ideal for sailing and kite-surfing.
