Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

The Chedi Muscat is by the sea in the Al Khuwair area, not far from the capital’s thriving commercial district.

Rooms at the Chedi Muscat

Luxuriously furnished in an Indonesian style, with dark woods and crisp whites, the rooms and suites are serene sanctuaries, and offer gorgeous interiors with plush beds and open-plan bathrooms with powerful rain showers. They have beautiful views over the gardens, the pool, the sea and the dramatic mountains beyond from large windows, and some also have private terraces to relax on.

Guests in the Club rooms and suites can enjoy access to the Club lounge and deluxe extras from morning breakfast to afternoon tea and evening cocktails and canapés.

Food & Drink

There are several award-winning restaurants and lounges, showcasing great cuisines and wines from around the world, from the Mediterranean and the Middle East to Southeast Asia and India.

Stylishly designed by a renowned Japanese interior designer, the main restaurant fuses traditional Omani architecture with Asian flair. In this striking setting, it serves gourmet Arabic, Mediterranean, Asian and Indian cuisine from several display kitchens, beneath vaulted ceilings hung with sparkling chandeliers, while you can also enjoy delicious food in lovely outdoor venues by the pool, beach or gardens.

Facilities

The spectacular Long Pool is a highlight of the hotel, fringed by palms and overlooking the sea, and there are also tennis courts, a gym and a wonderful 1,500-square-metre spa which is a haven of relaxation. Combining ancient wisdom with modern expertise, unwind in supreme style with an extensive menu of blissful treatments which can be tailored to suit you.

Activities at the Chedi Muscat

Rich in culture, Oman has plenty to offer. Combine the sights of Muscat such as the Grand Mosque and the Sultan's Palace with the beautiful bays of Bandar al Khiran. Alternatively enjoy coastal trips and dolphin watching. For the more adventurous, why not try a two or three-night luxury camping experience in the desert?
