Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

Hotel locations don’t come much more atmospheric than Ait BenHaddou, the 400-year-old castle in which Kasbah Tebi is housed. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the building is a traditional Berber ksar with sandy-coloured walls which rises dramatically from the arid landscape.

Rooms at Kasbah Tebi

The rooms at Kasbah Tedi are stylish and luxurious while reflecting the castle’s long history, with high Moroccan arches, atmospheric lantern lighting, and rugged adobe-style walls. The high ceilings features exposed beams and wickerwork, and the floors are decorated with traditional Moroccan rugs.

Food & Drink

Traditional, authentic Moroccan cuisine is the order of the day at Kasbah Tebi, as it has been enjoyed by the family over the centuries they have lived here. Hearty Berber breakfasts are served up on the roof terrace or in the privacy of your own room, while briouates, couscous and tagines are among the dishes on offer at lunch and dinner. If you develop a liking for Moroccan dishes, you can learn to whip some up yourself with private cookery classes courtesy of chef Mehdi.

Facilities

Housed as it is in a 400-year-old World Heritage Site, there isn’t much in the way of spa facilities here. However, the hotel has all the mod cons you could need to feel comfortable, and staff will gladly help you arrange tours and activities in the local area.

Activities at Kasbah Tebi

Kasah Tebi arranges a variety of activities and tours throughout southern Morocco. You can get a taste of traditional Berber nomad life with an unforgettable night in the Sahara Desert, visiting the historic Kasbah of Telouet and the snakelike Ounila Valley before spending the night in a comfortable bivouac. Horse rides are a great way to experience the landscape around the Kasbah, which has featured in numerous films.
