Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

Chez Pierre sits just below the stunning Dades Gorge, a beautiful area of red and ochre rock formations carved by the Dades River over thousands of years.

Rooms at Chez Pierre

Rooms at Chez Pierre combine luxurious comfort with a rugged aesthetic reflecting the Berber culture of the mountains. Floors are either wooden or stone-tiled and adorned with ornate Moroccan rugs, while the walls feature Moorish arches and the ceilings feature wickerwork in the Tataouine style. Niches in the walls are lit by Moroccan lamps, creating a cosy atmosphere.

Food & Drink

Chez Pierre’s restaurant specialises in European-Moroccan fusion cuisine, with a varied menu drawing on the rich natural produce of the surrounding area. Breakfast features an array of freshly baked pastries and breads and fresh fruit, and dinner is a sumptuous multi-course feast, with unusual dishes such as duck providing a change from the tagine and couscous ubiquitous in Moroccan cuisine.

Chez Pierre’s outdoor swimming pool sits surrounded by fruit trees in its gardens, which tumble in terraces down the hillside. There are also several patios and a salon where you can relax and take in the views of the mountains.

The hotel offers a range of activities to help you explore the spectacular landscapes of the High Atlas Mountains. If you’re feeling energetic, hikes of up to six hours will take you to along the banks of the Dades River to the Monkey’s Fingers rock formations, or up the Dry Valley along the Dades Gorge.
