On the beachfront of the secluded Holbox Island, where the Caribbean Sea meets the Gulf of Mexico. The island itself is home to just 2000 inhabitants, and forms part of the Yum Balam ecological reserve.

The restaurant incorporates both Mexican and Caribbean flavours, as well as a number of Cuban specialities. Activities at Casa Sandra

Many people visit Holbox Island for its impressive wildlife scene. The island is a haven for whale sharks between the months of May and September, and many visitors come to swim with these colossal sharks. Animal lovers can take a stroll along any of Holbox’s dirt tracks and may spot Hawksbill turtles, pink flamingos, white pelicans and many different types of iguanas.
