Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

Jashita is on the beachfront in beautiful Soliman Bay in Tulum, 50km from Playa del Carmen. Set in a bougainvillea-scented garden, the hotel opens onto a white sandy beach, with tropical jungle on the other side.

Rooms at Jashita

The light and airy rooms and suites feature dark woods and stone floors, and are inspired by Caribbean colours of white and blue, complementing the ocean views outside your window. They have plush four-poster beds with exclusive Italian bed linens, and terraces with outdoor showers and panoramic vistas over the flower-filled gardens, the beach and the sea, and some also have private pools for additional indulgence.

Food & Drink

The restaurant serves up the best of gourmet Mexican and Italian cuisine, with specialities including grilled lobster and fresh fish carpaccio. Enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet in the morning, and end the day with a cocktail or two in the poolside bar.

Facilities

Jashita’s spa is nestled in the jungle treetops overlooking a private lagoon, enabling you to switch off and relax with a wellness treatment inspired by ancient Mexican traditions - enjoy a Mexican cacao scrub or a massage using Mayan aromatherapy oils. If you’ve got some sunburn, have a soothing Aloe Vera body wrap. You can also unwind with a yoga session.

There is an adults-only infinity pool which is perfect for enjoying a swim or lazing with a drink on a sun lounger while gazing out at the ocean, and there's also a children's pool. If you fancy a round of golf, there's a golf course just a few minutes away.

Activities at Jashita

Thanks to the spectacular reef which runs from the north of the Yucatan peninsula down to Honduras, Soliman Bay is one of the most protected bays in the Riviera Maya, and is a beautiful (and safe) spot for swimming, snorkelling and diving all year round, with tropical fish, eagle rays, turtles and dolphins in the aquamarine waters. You can also enjoy unique swimming and diving experiences in nearby cenotes, or go paddleboarding or kayaking.

The wetlands and lagoons of the nearby Sian Ka’n reserve are teeming with monkeys, crocodiles, and jaguars, among many others. Soliman Bay is also a great spot for birdwatching – keep an eye out for the pink spatula, the harin and the Ibis, and you may find yourself waking up to birdsong.

To get your cultural fix, the Mayan ruins of the area are a must-see - Xelha is just 7km away, or head to the ancient ruins of Tulum, one of the last cities of the Maya.

Jashita’s concierges will help you make the most of your stay and give you their top tips on what to see and do.
