Piaf is a high-end French eatery, while Frida, named after legendary artist Frida Kahlo, serves classic Mexican cuisine. Other options include Chaka, a health food restaurant surrounded by the jungle, and Sen Lin, which offers delicious pan-Asian dishes.

In the evening, bring out your inner diva in the Karaoke Bar or on the dance floor at the Koi Bar, or if you're after something more relaxed, head to the ocean-view Piano Bar for cocktails.

The hotel is just 15 minutes from Playa del Carmen, and car rentals and excursions into the Yucatan are also available, so you can explore the region’s unforgettable lush jungles on horseback or zipline through the trees, discover the area’s fascinating Mayan history at the ruins of Tulum and Chichen Itza, and go swimming in cenotes - unique sinkholes leading to beautiful underwater caves.
