Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

With the jungle of the Riviera Maya on one side, and the white sands of Maroma Beach and the azure waters of the Caribbean Sea on the other, Chable Maroma feels like its own little corner of the world. The suites sit right in the jungle, with dense vegetation separating them from one another, adding to the sense of privacy.

Rooms at Chable Maroma

Chable Maroma’s suites and villas are dotted throughout the jungle. The design on the outside is based on traditional indigenous houses, with walls of rugged stone and wood and thatched roofs, within, they are modern and luxurious, including elegant bathrooms and marble features, but retain an organic feel thanks to stylish design touches like headboards hewn from tree trunks, created by Mexican artisans. The large glass walls also bring the outside in, and make the most of the tropical views.

Each villa, set in individual casitas, has its own private terrace and pool, while the Presidential Villas also have three bedrooms and indoor and outdoor living and dining areas.

Food & Drink

At the Kaban and Bu'ul restaurants, enjoy delicious classics from the Yucatan and across Mexico, including ceviche and fish tacos, and indulge in sunset cocktails on the bar's terrace.

Facilities

The 17,000-square-foot spa is a beautifully relaxing space, decked out in the same wood and thatch as the rest of the hotel. It has several massage rooms, a sensation shower and a beauty salon, and the blissful treatments combine modern technology with ancient Mayan wellness wisdom, including the healing powers of quartz, sea salt and natural essential oils. Take a dip in the pool, overlooking the ocean.

Activities at Chable Maroma

It’s likely that swimming and sunbathing will be pretty high on your agenda here, with a range of water sports also on offer, including scuba diving. You can even get back to nature and help out in the gardens. Enjoy cultural excursions into the Yucatan, and don’t miss the chance while you’re in this corner of Mexico to see Chichen Itza, one of the great wonders of the world, which you can visit in a day trip.
