Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

With the thick jungle of the Riviera Maya on one side, and the white sands of Maroma Beach and the azure waters of the Caribbean Sea on the other, Chablé Maroma feels like its own little corner of the world. The suites sit right in the jungle, with dense vegetation separating them from one another, adding to the sense of privacy.

Rooms at Chable Maroma

Chablé Maroma’s 70 luxurious suites are dotted throughout the jungle. The design on the outside is based on traditional indigenous houses, with walls of rugged stone and wood and thatched roofs; within, they are modern and luxurious, with separate his and hers bathrooms, but retain an organic feel thanks to stylish design touches like headboards hewn from tree trunks. The large glass walls also bring the outside in, and make the most of the tropical views. Each suite has its own private pool.

Food & Drink

At the flagship restaurant, IXIM, enjoy delicious classics from the Yucatan and across Mexico - look out for pibil, a spicy marinated pork dish, alongside long-time favourites such as fish tacos and enchiladas. The Beach Bar is a great place for fresh seafood or an ice-cold beer as you enjoy the feeling of warm sand between your toes.

Facilities

The spa is a beautifully relaxing space, decked out in the same wood and thatch as the rest of the hotel. It has seven massage rooms, a Jacuzzi, a steam bath and hydrotherapy facilities, and the blissful treatments combine modern technology with ancient Mayan wellness wisdom. For the ultimate relaxation, meditation and yoga classes are held on the yogi platform overlooking the ocean.

Activities at Chable Maroma

It’s likely that swimming and sunbathing will be pretty high on your agenda here, with a range of water sports also on offer, including scuba diving. You can even get back to nature and help out in the gardens. Enjoy cultural excursions into the Yucatan, and don’t miss the chance while you’re in this corner of Mexico to see Chichen Itza, one of the great wonders of the world, which you can visit in a day trip.
