Hotel Overview

Where

Las Alcobas is in the high-end Polanco district: known as the Manhattan of Mexico City it has great restaurants, clubs, and designer shops.

Rooms at Las Alcobas

Each of the 35 rooms at Las Alcobas is designed to be like home from home (albeit a very stylish one), and provides just the right amount of cosseting after a busy day. As well as having a mini-spa in your bathroom, you’ll have a personal butler to make you feel totally pampered.

Food and Facilities

Las Alcobas is lucky enough to have the talented chef Marta Ortiz of the acclaimed Aguila Sol, who conjures up a tantalising mix between haute cuisine, and traditional Mexican street food. The latter is served in lush gardens, which are a great place to chill in the afternoon.

Activities at Las Alcobas

Staying at Las Alcobas, you’ll be right in the middle of one of the most vibrant and historic districts of the capital, with museums, restaurants and nightclubs on your doorstep. As for shopping, you’ll be spoilt for choice – picking up incredible one-offs at flea markets (haggling is expected), before moving on to designer boutiques. Other must-dos include a visit to the Teotithuacan pyramid – the third largest in the world – and on Sundays, you can take a leisurely trip along the Xochimilco canals in a vibrantly coloured boat.
