Hotel Overview

Sense of place

The Cape offers the best of both worlds, with the ocean and natural beauty of Los Cabos on one side, and the buzzing nightlife and culture of Cabo San Lucas on the other; that’s if you can tear yourself away from the hotel itself, with its glamorous 1960s styling and the city’s only rooftop bar.

Rooms at The Cape

The Cape’s rooms are designed to ensure you enjoy the natural beauty of Los Cabos, with huge floor-to-ceiling windows and private balconies, with hanging daybeds where you can relax and take in the view. Every room overlooks the distinctive rock formation El Arco, and the Bahia San Lucas horizon. The rooms have a stylish, ‘60s-style design, with freestanding copper bathtubs and even their own craft cocktail bars.

Food & Drink

There’s no shortage of places to eat and drink at The Cape, with no fewer than seven restaurants and bars to choose from. Manta, as the name suggests, specialises in seafood, drawing on Pacific cuisines as far-reaching as those of Mexico, Japan and Peru; the ledge, an informal beach house-style space, is a great place for breakfast, whether you’re after American pancakes or octopus tacos. The Glass Box is a stylish lounge bar designed, as its name suggests, to allow panoramic views of Cabo San Lucas.

Facilities

The Currents Spa is built within one of the natural rock formations surrounding the hotel, and is a beautiful place to relax with a range of wellness treatments. Ocean view cabanas are available so you can take in sea views while enjoying a massage, and there are also hot and cold plunge pools, a steam room and sauna.

Activities at The Cape

Cabo San Lucas is a magnet for outdoorsy types and fans of water sports in particular; jet skiing, parasailing, kite surfing, diving and snorkelling are among the marine activities on offer. Back on dry land, hiking, horse riding or a ride on a ‘sierra buggy’ are all great ways to explore the beautiful scenery. Cabo is also renowned for its nightlife, and downtown’s clubs and bars really come alive after dark – the perfect place to blow off some steam.
