The retreat houses a small collection of private lodges, each incorporating stone walls, locally sourced textiles and indigenous art pieces. With private balconies overlooking the lake, while away your time admiring the spectacular landscape, while enjoying the serenity of the verdant 100-acre nature reserve surrounding you.

Food and facilities

In keeping with the eco-friendly objectives, the lakefront restaurant serves vegetarian food only. The cuisine incorporates organic ingredients, many of which are grown in the lodge’s own garden or sourced from local farmers. Dine lakeside under candlelight, or on chillier evenings, next to the cosy stone fireplace inside.

Activities at Laguna Lodge

Spend your days exploring the lake by kayak, visiting the many villages scattered around its banks, taking occasional breaks to bathe in the cool waters. Alternatively, head inland and mountain bike over the hilly landscape, rock climb volcano edges and rappel your way back down again, or get bird’s eye views paragliding over the mountain tops.
