Flor Blanca

On the southern tip of the Nicoya Peninsula near Cabo Blanco National Park. Flor Blanca is a 25 minute plane hop west from San Jose to Tambor followed by a 45 minute drive.

Hidden by lush vegetation, the 11 spacious one and two bedroom villas are secluded and tranquil. All Flor Blanca's villas are beautifully decorated in a soothing natural palette and come with comfortable living rooms (with one side open to the elements), open-air garden bathrooms, and one or two air-conditioned bedrooms. As well as the beachside yoga pavilion with daily classes, Flor Blanca also has a fitness room, 2 tier swimming pool and the fabulous Spa Bambu, reminiscent of tranquil Japanese gardens. There are surf boards and mountain bikes for guests use as well.

Catch that perfect wave, take a yoga class, snorkel in tidal pools, zipline through the canopy, go horse riding or cycle into town. Overdone it? Stop in at the spa for a treatment or two or just lie back in a hammock and be soothed by the sound of crashing waves.
