Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

Xandari Resort & Spa is set in the lush, tropical landscapes of Costa Rica's Central Valley, with gorgeous views.

Rooms at Xandari Resort & Spa

There is just a handful of villas, which all feature a unique design with gloriously vibrant tropical colour schemes and embellished artwork on the walls to add character. They each have a contemporary open plan design that is both spacious and intimate in feel. Enjoy a blissful sleep on the plush beds and wake up to the sound of birdsong from outside your villa. The villas also include deluxe bathrooms with walk-in showers and comfortable sitting areas.

You’ll find no televisions in these rainforest sanctuaries, which help to promote a calming ambience and let you enjoy the beautiful scenery that surrounds you, with the highlight of the villas being the grand private garden terraces with panoramic views of the valley and rainforest below.

Food & Drink

The open-air restaurant is set above the tropical rainforest, allowing you to savour the mesmerising panoramic views while enjoying your meals. The delicious menus feature healthy and delicious continental and Costa Rican food. Many of the fruits and vegetables are from the hotel's own organic greenhouse, orchard and gardens, and you can explore them on the 4 kilometres of private scenic trails, and visit the orchid farm.

Facilities

When you're not enjoying the food, simply surrender to the relaxed vibe of Xandari and head to the spa, which is perched on the hillside and comes complete with an open-air Jacuzzi overlooking the Central Valley - perfect for some blissful pampering with a view! Have a refreshing dip in the pool or stretch out on the terrace. Watching the sunset from the pool deck is a magnificent way to draw your day to a close.

Activities at Xandari Resort & Spa

If you can drag yourself away, take a trip to the nearby Poas Volcano or Carara National Park. You can also go river rafting, swing through the rainforest canopy, visit La Paz Waterfall Gardens, tour a coffee processing plant or enjoy a round of golf.
