Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

Arenas del Mar is in Manuel Antonio, on the doorstep of Manuel Antonio National Park. Set in 11 acres of private nature reserve, it is surrounded by lush tropical landscapes and idyllic beaches.

Rooms at Arenas del Mar

The ocean-view suites at Arenas del Mar have exquisite art-deco tiled Jacuzzis, each set on a private terrace looking over the sea. The natural feel is enhanced by copious foliage, surrounding the rooms on all sides, with creeping vines adorning the private terraces. The interiors, however, are all sophistication, with smart bathrooms featuring burnt-orange tiles and glass-topped coffee tables surrounded by black wicker armchairs.

Food & Drink

Gorgeous sunsets can be enjoyed along with fantastic fresh lobster, squid, sea bass, and other delicacies at El Mirador, an authentic full-service Costa Rican fusion restaurant. The Playitas restaurant offers lighter dishes just steps away from one of the world’s most spectacular beaches, surrounded by a forest filled with monkeys, birds and sloths.

Facilities

Cool off in the pool and enjoy refreshing poolside drinks, and unwind in the spa with a massage, some yoga or a meditation session.

Activities at Arenas del Mar

As well as lazing on the beach, there's so much more on offer at Arenas del Mar. Being just a short walk along the beach from Manuel Antonio National Park, wildlife watching is key - enjoy guided hikes to see endangered monkeys, adorable sloths and exotic birds in the company of a qualified wildlife guide. Also on offer are dawn and sunset catamaran trips, kayaking, horse riding and whitewater rafting.
