Inspired by the centennial chalets of Tirol, Austria, the family-run hotel comprises of two buildings decorated with wood panelling, French doors, ceiling-to-floor windows and locally crafted furniture. The 26 rooms offer spectacular views of the Pacific, the Arenal Volcano, and the beautiful surrounding landscape, which provides a dramatic and unforgettable stay.

Food and facilities

Tico Time, the hotel’s happy hour equivalent, can be enjoyed in the Celajes Lounge accompanied with an assortment of bocas- the Tico word for tapas. The bar specializes in craft beer brewed on site and artisanal cocktails created from local and seasonal ingredients, many of which have come straight from the garden. So make sure you try the national liquor guaro, made from sugarcane, and the Four Roses margarita. Interpreted from traditional Costa Rica dishes, the Celajes Restaurant serves world-class dishes overlooking world-class views, created by the hotel’s head chef and served on splendid balconies.
