Tico Time, the hotel’s happy hour equivalent, can be enjoyed in the Celajes Lounge accompanied with an assortment of bocas- the Tico word for tapas. The bar specializes in craft beer brewed on site and artisanal cocktails created from local and seasonal ingredients, many of which have come straight from the garden. So make sure you try the national liquor guaro, made from sugarcane, and the Four Roses margarita. Interpreted from traditional Costa Rica dishes, the Celajes Restaurant serves world-class dishes overlooking world-class views, created by the hotel’s head chef and served on splendid balconies.

Hotel Belmar offers a guided 3 and a half hour walk through the enchanting trails of the primary forests of Curi-Chancha Wildlife Refuge. Led by a professional naturalist guide, it is a great opportunity for wildlife spotting and for understanding the complex ecosystems of the Monteverde Cloud Forests.
