A Costa Rica luxury holiday or honeymoon is the ideal solution for anyone wanting to combine activity, adventure and relaxation on the beach. With trails leading to roaring waterfalls, secluded beaches and misty cloud forests, Costa Rica is a fusion of tropical jungles and pristine coastlines embedded with beautiful flowers and exotic wildlife.

Offering a dizzying collection of outdoor activities, zip line in the Monteverde Cloud Forest or walk around the lava-spitting volcanoes in Arenal. Try your hand at sailing or surfing along the Gold Coast and go scuba diving in the Pacific Ocean with hatchling turtles and breaching whales.

Costa Rica also works very well for family adventure holidays, where the children can climb along high performance treks, soar through the treetop canopies and go whitewater rafting on the Sarapiqui River.

Hidden under rocks, camouflaged on the branches, high up in the trees and along the rivers, Costa Rica’s wildlife is something to be admired. Whether they squawk, howl, hiss or move without a sound, travel through the steamy highlands and paradisal lowlands discovering the magnificent birdlife and sealife that is on offer, making sure to keep an eye out for the mystical Respledent Quetzal and the slow-moving three-toed sloth.

With a good selection of luxury hotels, lodges - even treehouses - to choose from, Costa Rica provides countless options for tailor-made luxury travel. Check out some of our itinerary ideas for inspiration or call 020 7337 9010 to create your own personalised Costa Rica holiday from scratch.
