Las Terrazas Resort

Las Terrazas is located on the largest private beachfront on the beautiful island of Ambergris Caye, 3.5 miles north of the town of San Pedro and easily reached by private resort boat or water taxi.

The 37 spacious residences are housed in low-rise whitewashed buildings and range from romantic penthouses ideal for honeymooners, to 3 bedroom townhouse style units well suited to groups and families. Many have sea views, and the seahouses open straight out onto the white sandy beach. Large terraces and patios are welcome spots for afternoon sun worship in private. All rooms have living rooms, dining areas and fully equipped kitchens.

Meals are served in the chic O restaurant, with a high-ceilinged dining room and private cabanas overlooking the pool. The menu combines international cuisine with a Caribbean twist, delicious fresh fish dishes and Belizean classics. The 70ft pool dotted with semi-submerged lounge chairs is the perfect spot for some post-lunch relaxation, or perhaps one of the oversize loungers on the beach. Serenity Spa has a full menu of massages and body treatments, or the more energetic can take one of the complimentary kayaks and Hobie Cats out onto the pristine Caribbean sea.

Diving enthusiasts will flock to the onsite 5* PADI dive centre, which offers excursions around the turquoise waters of Ambergris Caye and further afield to the Blue Hole. Beginners can take advantage of the complimentary introductory scuba lessons in the resort pool, and you can also snorkel with stingrays and nurse sharks in Shark Ray Alley.
