Activities at Kings Pavilion

Kandy is famed for “The Temple of the Tooth”, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in the heart of the city. The temple is said the hold Buddha’s tooth artefact. Many people pass through the town to visit this site alone. The Peradeniya Botanical Gardens are worth a visit and are home to over 4000 different plants, renowned for their orchid species, our favourite being the Dove Orchid which looks like the orchid has a tiny white dove inside it. Outside of Kandy, try tramping through Udawatte Kele in search of exotic flora and fauna.
