Seven rustic suites are spread across the Ellerton property, each with their own unique merits. Pristine antique furniture throughout every room contributes to the charm with a glimpse into Ellerton’s colonial history. The main house oozes homely appeal, while the peace and seclusion of the garden room are enhanced by the stunning valley views and the sight of Ullagalla Mountain from your private veranda.

Food

The open-sided dining pavilion provides the perfect relaxed spot for enjoying sumptuous meals and free-flowing wine, whilst swapping travel tales with fellow guests. Internationally inspired meals are freshly prepared, with traditional Sri Lankan curries on offer every night served at a time that suits you - in typical bespoke Ellerton style.

The scenery and serenity around Ellerton make long walks and bike rides a joy, while visits to the surrounding villages give a telling insight into local life. The Temple of the Tooth at nearby Kandy is a unique experience, as one of Buddhism’s holiest relics, while the Botanical Gardens at Peredeniya will impress the most discerning nature lover; but that’s if you don’t fancy a lazy day relaxing by the pool taking in Ellerton’s striking backdrop.
