Staying closer to home, the main highlight here is to hike the rolling hills and discover the variety of flora and fauna belonging to the region. The area is also a bird watcher’s paradise and is particularly renowned for its peacock residents. Just a short 20 minute drive away from the house, you can explore Galle and its iconic fort, along with the pristine beaches of Sri Lanka’s southern coast.
