There are ten exclusive colonial, Luxury Suite Tents offering a taste of India during the Raj. They are luxuriously furnished, including comfortable four-poster beds, leather trunks and armchairs, with richly-patterned carpets on the polished-wood floors, as well as mini-bars and ensuite bathrooms. The luxury suite tents can accommodate up to three guests, while the luxury presidential suite can accommodate up to four. A personalised butler service will ensure you have everything you need.

Activities at the Ultimate Travelling Camp - Kishkinda Camp, Hampi

Explore the landscapes on guided walks around the ruins of Hampi, including buildings of arches, pillars and domes, displaying sculptures of gods, nymphs, religious motifs and flora and fauna, and there are also cave temples hewn from red sandstone. Visit Kaladham, a museum which documents the fascinating history of Hampi, including interactive displays and panoramic 3D photography.

You can also visit Sandur, which is home to the nomadic Banjaras people, stroll along the Tungabhadra River, explore riverside villages and go birdwatching along the river’s backwaters with expert guides (the waterways are home to over 200 bird species), or enjoy a photography lesson or a cooking class.

If you’re a wildlife fan, don’t miss the chance to visit the Daroji Sloth Bear Sanctuary with naturalist guides, where, as well as sloth bears, which are endemic to India, you can also see wildlife such as leopards and mongoose.
